I accidentally deleted my WIndows Home Premium operating system. My computer didn't come with a windows 7 disk and when I try to download the ISO it says that my windows was pre-installed on the system. One of my friends gave me his old gaming PC, It came with Windows 7 Home Premium (64bit) but no CD. I have the product key it's still on the side of the computer but I cannot find a working ISO download. Download Original Windows 7 Home Premium ISO (SP1) from Microsoft. Through the Microsoft, Windows 7 Premium has been the major release that is distributed in six diverse editions (Starter, Home Basic, Enterprise, Home Premium, Professional and Ultimate).

I assume there's still an official place to download Windows 7 from somewhere on one of Microsoft's websites. I have a laptop that ran Windows 7 Home Premium, the HDD failed (don't know exactly what happened, honestly I don't care, I replaced it with a larger hard drive that I had lying around collecting dust) I need to redownload Windows 7 Home Premium from somewhere so I can burn an ISO file to a 16 GB flash drive to use to reinstall Windows 7 Home Premium to the laptop. I don't need to 'buy' Windows 7 again, as I already have the activation key, all I need is a download link. A download link straight to an ISO file would be most preferable. However, I do have another computer (a few actually) that I can use to download the Windows 7 Upgrade Assistant onto to create a bootable installation drive from that. I don't know if (even if I could find that) it would work running on Windows 8.1 (which is the OS installed on the computer I'll be using to create the drive).

Any thoughts on where I might find such a download link? If you could just link me to one that'd be best. I'll state again, I'd *REALLY* like an official download through Microsoft.

I'm in need of a little help.

After multiple tries/cleans/restores done to my current Windows 7 Home Premium comp, I am unable to upgrade to Win10. (I receive different errors at different times, the furthest I've gotten is to 33% on the black install window.)

I have decided some where along the way there is a corruption in my comp and the best solution is to do a clean install of win7, then proceed to upgrade to win10 and reinstall my desired apps.

All that being said, Win7 Home Premium iso USED to be available on a third party download site from Microsoft. In the recent months, that has changed to where all ISO files are downloaded directly from Microsoft Support. The problem: I have an iBuyPower computer and the Microsoft site will only generate the ISO for copies of win7 that were retail, not purchased through a third party.

iBuyPower offers the recovery disk for 20 dollars, however it is the hard copy and will take weeks to get to me.

Does anyone know where I might be able to find the ISO? Is there any reason why I would need the OEM (bloatware etc) recovery disk rather than a normal retail ISO?
