Further to my earlier message with the scanty information given about the System Specs, I suggest going to DriverPack Solution >> Download drivers installation software and downloading Driver Pack Solution Full 12.3, I presume you need the 64-bit pack. The pack should be containing the Ethernet Driver that you are looking for. Anyway the short story, I brought a Samsung rv511 and upgraded the machine from xp to windows 7 64 bit a while ago but this seems to have deleted my internal mic What I have done is 1. could you please help me to configure all the Fn keys to work and all the configuration for best cpu and fans settings since you can control all of them on Windows but can't in linux,
the thing is that i feel more heat under linux than windows, and i can't differ the fans because under both of them are completly silent
gksudo pluma /etc/default/grub , Fn keys for brightness used to work but now isn't working ( i dunno if they stopped since i've install nvidia nonfree drivers or before that )

i would be very thankfull if anyone would help configure the laptop drivers correctly so the fn keys would all work and i'll have less heat problems, by the way the battery differs from windows less than 2 hours !!
