El Capitan Won T Download

When I open the El Capitan page of the Mac App Store Preview (https://itunes.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewSoftware?id=1018109117&mt=12&ls=1&v0=www-us-osx-how-app-elcapitan) and click on 'View in Mac App Store', the App Store opens with an El Capitan heading and a 'Download' button. Clicking this starts a clock-device rotating in the menu bar but nothing else happens.
I had earlier downloaded the installer but it won't run because my Mac says it can't be verified.
Is there another way to install El Capitan?

2019-2-19  One common OS X El Capitan problem is Mac boot issue, Mac El Capitan won’t boot, or El Capitan is slow to boot. If you are using a notebook, the easiest fix.

My Eos utility wont work on El Capitan Macbook pro, Canon t5, CD wont install software. Software, but when I clicked 'Set up' nothing happens. It'll open something on my dock and then dissapear. It just won't install or anything at all! I just went there and downloaded DPP 4.30 this afternoon and I have El Capitan on my Macbook Pro. 2019-1-15  Can’t download Mac OS X 10.11 (El Capitan). (2015) 1.79GB and it stops 'OS X El Capitan failed to download,' can't seem to find any solution. – DarrylGodden Oct 2 '15 at 10:54. Same problem here. I inherited this old mini running 10.6.8 and cannot get El Capitan to download via the appstore.

Os El Capitan Won't Download

Hi,

I can't seem to get the download of OS X El Capitan to work. I click it and I get the the little circle thing in the top left corner of the Mac App store window but thats it. I've tried restarting my mac but no luck. I'm running a 27-inch mid 2010 model iMac with OS X Yosemite v10.10.5. Have I missed something?

In the Mac App Store on Updates it should show a graphic of El Capitan, look at the graphic and there is a download link on the graphic. Click that and El Capitan should begin downloading. Of course ensure you are logged into your account and your AppleID and password have been entered. If you continue to have trouble please look over:
